How To Get Selected to Volunteer With Us

At Robotics For All, our volunteers are hardworking, friendly, and collaborative. Our organization is constantly growing, and we have a variety of volunteer positions open to the public. If you are interested in applying to volunteer with us, we strongly advise you to first learn more about our organization, and familiarize yourself with who we are and what we do. If you resonate with our values, and meet the qualifications for any of our positions, we strongly encourage you to apply! We also open new volunteer positions periodically, and we would advise checking back later for future positions as well.

The first step in our application process is to fill out the application. We would like to see well-written responses that highlight your qualifications related to the position, past experiences, and meaningful reasons as to why you want to volunteer with us. Once you submit your application, it will be reviewed, and we may contact you regarding an interview.

The main goal of the interview is simply to get to know you better. Our interviewing team is made up of volunteers from every part of our organization, who love to see applicants who are motivated and excited to volunteer with us! The interview is the perfect place for you to mention any valuable experiences, and to ask any questions you might have regarding the position or our organization. If you did use any of the tips or resources on this page, please also mention it to our interviewers as well because we always like seeing when people do their research!

If you are a High School student who is new to interviewing, we suggest watching the following video (our interview workshop), which includes many valuable tips for a successful interview:

After your interview, our decision on your application will be sent to you by the next Sunday.

Please do note that our application process is a formal one, and sadly involves rejections. Although we wish we could accept the vast majority of applicants who apply, that unfortunately is not possible. If we noticed that you were qualified and excited for the position, we may contact you regarding future position openings. Additionally, upon request, we do our best to offer feedback after rejection, though we are unable to guarantee that feedback will be made available.
