Robotics for All is now offering tutoring services for k-12 students.
Tutoring times are flexible.
We carefully screen our volunteers; all volunteers go through a comprehensive written application and interview before being accepted. Roughly 50% of all candidates who apply to volunteer with us get accepted. All volunteers over the age of 18 must pass a detailed background check run by our contractor Sterling Volunteers.
We will be offering tutoring for the following subjects during the fall semester.
What do tutoring sessions cover?
Tutoring sessions can be held for any student struggling with a specific topic in class or with homework. Our tutors aim to help students better understand concepts and succeed in their academics.
How much does tutoring cost?
Our tutoring service is free for the schools we partner with. Please feel free to donate to Robotics For All to help further its mission.
What materials are needed for a tutoring session?
A computer is recommended for the best experience. A smartphone or tablet can be used as well, but the experience may be more difficult especially on the smaller screen of a smartphone.
What is the format of Tutoring?
Tutoring will be held virtually through video call software Google Meet. Each session will be 30 minutes (flexible based on need).
